Board President: Jason Oyler (2023)

Jason Oyler and his wife moved to East Pennsboro in 2002 to raise their family. Jason says they were attracted to the more community-oriented feel of EPASD. Jason has two children, Ainsley, a 4th grader at West Creek Hills, and Joshua, an 8th grader, at the Middle School.

Our kids have had great experiences here with regular, special, and gifted education provided by excellent teachers and administrators whose care and concern for our children is evident.

Jason was first motivated to serve on the school board through his involvement with the District’s Feasibility Study Committee. He volunteered with the district on its Feasibility Study Committee and was a part of the Special Education Comprehensive Planning that occurred in 2014-15. Jason will be serving on the Policy Committee, the Facilities Committee, the Intergovernmental Committee as well as the temporary Blended Learning Committee.

For the past three years, Jason has served as the General Counsel for the Susquehanna River Basin Commission. He has also been an attorney with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Fish and Boat Commission, as well as, in private practice.

He hopes to bring personal and professional experience to the Board as an attorney for a public agency as well as a parent of two children and experience with special education.

Jason says, “I’m inspired by the opportunity to help shape the future of our district and the opportunity to provide a quality education for the children of our community while being accountable to parents and taxpayers.”
