Katelynn Edger

Katelynn Edger has served as the Director of Communications for East Pennsboro Area School District since April 2020, and as the Executive Director of the East Pennsboro Education Foundation since October 2025.  Katelynn received her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with concentrations in Management and Marketing in 2017, and her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 2010.  Both of her degrees were from Elizabethtown College.  Katelynn is also an active member of the Mechanicsburg-North Rotary Club, and serves on their Education and Essay Contest committees. 

Prior to joining EPASD, Katelynn worked in the non-profit sector, most recently at YWCA Carlisle as their Fund Development Manager and Interim Executive Director. From her non-profit work, Katelynn has great deal of experience in marketing and communications, donor and corporate relations, and writing and managing grants at the federal, state, and local levels. While working in Carlisle, Katelynn was an active member of the Carlisle Kiwanis Club Board of Directors for a number of years and has served in numerous committees and groups advocating for equality, racial and social justice, and underserved youth in Cumberland County.

Katelynn lives in Carlisle with her husband Paul and sons Connor and Aiden, as well as her family's dog, Scout, and cat, Elise.  Katelynn & her family love to travel and explore new countries and cultures and stay busy with sports and music.  Her family's second home is Hersheypark, and all of them love rollercoasters!
