Welcome Mrs. Jennifer Shelley as our new middle school assistant principal!
Mrs. Shelley was born and raised in the area, and currently resides within the district. “I wanted to become part of the team that was making an impact within my own community”.
Mrs. Shelley is married to her husband Jason and they have 2 daughters. Alexis is currently in 1st grade at EPE, and Victoria attends preschool in the area. She enjoys spending quality time with her family being outdoors.

California. Jen spent 15 years teaching all grade levels from second grade to high school seniors. She was most recently employed at Dover High School as the Assistant Principal.
Jen is drawn to the amazing community, in which families are invested in the success of the students here at East Pennsboro Area School District. “There is a lot of pride within our district, and that pride is what motivates the educators to excel daily at their job. The educators at EPASD are passionate and eager to do what is best for kids, each and every day.” she says.
Kids inspire Mrs. Shelley to do her job well every day. She states, “It is all about the kids! Each and every day; each and every decision needs to be about what is best for kids. Education encompasses more than just ABCs, and 123s. It includes social, emotional, and physical development of students. It is about developing the students into the best people they can be, and to prepare them for the next stage in their lives.”
Mrs. Shelley hopes to provide a new perspective when facing challenges and a fresh sense of energy and passion to the district. Mrs. Shelley states, “My goal is for each and every staff member, student and parent to feel like a valued member of the team”.
