Job # 24226 High School Assistant Principal

East Pennsboro Area School District, located in Cumberland County, seeks candidates for an Assistant Principal opening at East Pennsboro High School.  East Pennsboro is a 9-12 high school that serves approximately 800 students. The successful candidate will become the educational leader for a school that serves to accomplish the larger, common district mission for East Pennsboro. The leader selected will grow the collaborative spirit within the building focused on developing lifelong learners and productive citizens. Qualifications for this position include an active Pennsylvania Principal certification (K-12 or Secondary 7-12). Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: experience and knowledge in data driven decision-making to inform instruction and improve student achievement; success in fostering character development; knowledge and implementation of best practices in instruction and assessment strategies; effective utilization of the teacher observation and evaluation processes; and strong communication and technical skills.  This is a 12 month Act 93 position to begin July 1,2019.   Interested applicants should send a letter of interest and resume, certification information and three letters of professional reference to Angela Payne, 890 Valley St., Enola, PA, 17025. Middle School Guidance Secretary

 

The East Pennsboro Area School district Seeks candidates for the Middle School Guidance Secretary position.  The successful candidate will work 5 hours per day and 205 days per year in supporting the middle school guidance department.  The salary for this position is $12.00 per hour.  The middle school consists of approximately 850 students in grades 5-8.  Duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling meetings, student transition, student reporting, scheduling, record updates and reviews, purchasing, testing preparation, and student awards.

Guest Teachers
The Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU) will be hosting a Guest Teacher Training Wednesday, September 19 – Thursday, September 20, 2018 or Tuesday, January 22 – Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Upon completion of the course, Guest Teachers will be able to apply for an emergency permit through the PA Department of Education, which will allow them to be a substitute teacher in the schools and/or districts the CAIU serves. This is a great opportunity to discover if teaching is right for you!

Substitute Teacher Service, Inc. (STS) is now hiring Personal Care Assistants and Paraprofessionals, as well as Substitute Support Staff, to assist and support in Special Education classrooms for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.
