West Creek Hills Elementary School will soon start our Learn to Swim Program. This program is an important part of our District’s curriculum. Swimming lessons are valuable and potentially lifesaving.

About the Learn to Swim Program:

    • Swimming classes will be offered Tuesday, March 26 to Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
    • Each class will attend four swim lessons over two cycles.
    • Swim lessons occur on two consecutive days each cycle, so students may leave their swimsuits and towels in their classrooms to dry overnight.
    • Rohrer busses will transport our students to and from the East Pennsboro Middle Area School pool during these cycles.

On swimming days, each student should bring:

    • Bathing suit
    • Dry towel
    • Comb
    • Waterproof bag
    • Change of clothes, including undergarments

Notes:

    • Goggles will be provided.
    • For safety reasons, no jewelry of any kind is allowed in the pool area. Please leave these at home on swimming days.

Donate a Swim Suit:

If you have a swim suit that does not fit your child and is in good condition, please send it to Miss Allen. Students who do not have a swim suit may borrow one from the school. We have a few small suits, both boys and girls, so anything will help.

We are proud to offer such a valuable program this year!
