Board Member: Chuck Gatten (2029)

I am Chuck Gatten.  I have lived in our township since 1963 when I was taken in by Donna and William Myers, as my foster parents, who became my mother and father.  I graduated from East Pennsboro High School in 1976.  I am married to the love of my life, Marylin, for 46 years.  We have 2 grown children, Candice and Sean, who also graduated from East Pennsboro Schools. Candice went on to receive her undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock University and her Masters’ degree from Waynesburg University. Sean received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University.

I know the importance of education and the impact it has on the prospective future of the children in our township.  I am pleased to be part of a team, both the board and the administration, to work toward the exceptional education of our students to inspire them to achieve their potential as respected and productive members of our community, or wherever their paths lead.
