Matthew Franchak, vice president, was elected to the East Pennsboro Area School District Board of School Directors in November 2013. Franchak sits on the following committees: Intergovernmental, Comprehensive Planning, Policy Review, Cost Savings Revenue Generating Committee, Facilities and is the alternate for the East Pennsboro Education Foundation.
Franchak, a graduate of East Pennsboro Area School District, resides with his wife and two children Joshua and Sophia. He was inspired by the community to get involved with the School District and do everything he can to improve our schools and focus on investing in proven education programs.
“Our students, teachers, and my friends, neighbors and family inspire me to do everything I can to help our school district thrive and achieve great things,” said Franchak.
Franchak is the Chief of Staff to Lieutenant Governor Mike Stack. He plans to bring to the board his professional experience and education in public administration and budgeting which he feels will help him work with other members of the board, parents and teachers to deliver balanced budgets that invest in proven education programs that will generate significant return on investment for the taxpayers, students and our community.
